The Soren Christoffersen Freight Train consisted of 6 wagons and 22 yoke of cattle. Many cattle died on the plains and as a result, they had to leave behind 2 wagons at Fort Bridger. The freight train entered the Salt Lake Valley on October 13 and arrived at the home of Soren Christoffersen in Manti on 20 October 1864.
