375 individuals and about 60 wagons were in the company when it began its journey from the outfitting post at Wyoming, Nebraska (the west bank of the Missouri River about 40 miles south of Omaha). Out-and-back teamsters were not included in the immigrant lists. Also, some individuals were not listed on all or any of the immigrant lists but have been confirmed as members of the company.
