Assistant President of the Church in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Hyrum Smith and Oliver Cowdery were given the official title of "Assistant President of the High Priesthood" (later known as "Assistant President of the Church"). Joseph Smith stated the following as it relates to the position.
