Ellen Naylor Jenkins Passes to Her Reward

Mrs. Ellen Naylor Jenkins, a native of Nottingham, England, died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. WIlliam Galeazzi, at Bingham. Mrs. Jenkins was a resident of Midvale and the widow of William Jenkins. She was born [blank space] in England and came to this state when 14 years of age. She was a daughter of the late William and Dinah Naylor, early residents of South Salt Lake valley. Mrs. Jenkins was an active Church worker for many years and was universally esteemed in the community. She devoted much time to caring for the sick and distressed. 

The following sons and daughters survive: L. B. and Samuel A. Jenkins, Rigby, Idaho; Mrs. W. J. Gough, Gelndale, Calif.; Mrs. R. L. Herrick, Los Angeles; Joseph F. Jenkins, Midvale; Mrs. William Galeazzi, Bingham, and Mrs. Lorene Kearney of Los Angeles; also 30 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held in the Midvale ward chapel, Tuesday, Aug. 10, at 2 p.m. The body may be viewed on Tuesday between 11 and 1:30 o'clock at the residence of the deceased's son, Joseph E. Jenkins, in Midvale. Internment will be in the Midvale cemetery.
