Dear Brother Bullock[,]

I am requested by the President to send you this list of the 5th Company of the Saints Emigration for fear you have not received a Correct account of the same I am Happy to say since our start up to the present time we have been in a prosperous Condition[.] Our Cattle, Wagons, & all that we have seems to be under the Eye of the Almighty for we are getting along Firstrate. There has not been as yet & we believe will not be one Single Death in the Camp. No not even an oz [ox.] I have sent this list to you as I do not know rightly who to send it too [to] & if I have mistaken the person you will greatly Oblige me by Handing it over to the proper person that they may be made acquainted with the Necesary Information relative to the camp. We Started from Mormon Grove on the 3rd of July & Camped all well at this joint [point] this morning[.] Hoping this will find you well & all the Saints in the Mountains[.] Believe me Your Brother in the Covenant Geo’ Knowlden.
