Alfred Randall born at Bridgewater New York June 13, 1811

Feb. 19, 1819 Moved from place of birth to Kirtland Ohio I assisted to clear of the timber on which the temple is built In 1830 Fathers family moved to Munson Ohio. 1831 I went to Menter [Mentor] G______ to labor for my self I was present at Joseph Smiths first appointment for meeting in Kirtland 1832 I bought a farm in Munson, O, 1834 I married Emmerett [Emmerette] L Davis 1838 sold out my farm and moved my family to Chardon Gauge [Geauga] Co 1839 sold and moved to Quincy Illonies [Illinois] here worked at Carpenter Business 1840 Babtized May 12th. by Orson Hyde Ordained Deacon by Jacob Ceouse 1841 moved to Nauvo labored on the temple 1842 there Ordained an elder by Pres. Williams (went to Ohio on a visit 1841) Accompied the Prophet Monmith trial on the Missouri Writ Rec'd a Patrichal Blessing of John Smith 1848 returned to Nauvoo 1844 Accompied Joseph and Hyrum to Carthage jail June 26 returned to Nauvoo the mob drove us from Carthage at the point of the bayonet I heard Govener Ford informed of the plan to kill Joseph and Hyrum Govener replied hold your tongue if you know eny such a thing 1845 Ordained in to the 15th. quorum of Seventies by Heber C Kimball 1846 Sheriff called upon me to assist in taking Sharp and Demming. 1847 moved to Winter Quarters H. C. Kimball sent me to Ohio on business 1848 Sick with fever ague at Winter quarters 1849 Married Margrett Harley Jan, 29 moved in H C Kimballs Company to Great Salt Lake City 1850 assisted to build a mill in North Mill Creek Canyon for H C Kimball 1851 built me a house in the 17 Ward 1852 assisted to build A [Archibald] Gardeners

mill on jardon [Jordan] 1853 built another house on another lot an built adobie school house 17th. Ward 1854 built an addition 31 x 24 ft 1855 April Conference appointed on a mission to the White Mountains Baptized 10 Indians in Bever Valley 1856 framed a roof the Court house 12th. Ward 1857 took up a piece of land on the Weber Grass hoppers destroyed my crops

in reading this I find a few mistakes in the dates it should be in 1845 sheriff called on him to help in 1846 moved to winter quarters 1847 was sick at winter quarter 1848 moved to Salt Lake valley
