Transcript for "Arrived," Semi-Weekly Telegraph, 18 Oct. 1866, 2

ARRIVED.—Yesterday afternoon Capt. H[Orton]. D. Haight's train rolled into the President's "Eagle Gate" and deposited some 150,000 pounds of telegraph wire, about half of which was of the galvanized kind.

There were but few immigrants with the train--less than 20, all told--among whom there were neither deaths nor births, and general good health.

This is the largest train of the season, we believe, numbering a total of 65 wagons; was heavily loaded; performed the return trip in 71 days; cattle looking moderately well. Capt. Haight is an old navigator in these latitudes.
