AT LARAMIE CITY.—The following particulars are from the Frontier Index of the 7th inst:—A number of trains for Green River and Salt Lake had rolled out the few days previous. Captain Shirtleff's 23 wagons were to start for Salt Lake on the 8th. Captain Shirtleff had a sudden attack of illness, but was better. The first "Church" train had arrived at Laramie on the 6th. The first immigrants for Utah from Europe were expected on the 10th. Benton, the new town at North Platte, was being built up rapidly. Brownsville was moving over the river as fast as the ferry could take the people. Snow from Elk Mountain was selling at Brownsville for five cents a pound.
