Transcript for Edson Barney, Biographical information relating to Mormon pioneer overland travel database, 2003-2017

We crossed the plains in a company organized by Orson Hyde, one of the twelve apostles, I being appointed a captain of ten in Captain Stephens fifty. We arrived in Great Salt Lake Valley in August, 1850, nothing having occurred on the way except a small Indian fight close by our wagon, in which two Indians were killed.
