Sunday 12th. This morning we started for the grate Salt Lake[.] travild sixteen mildes [miles] and campt



Monday 13th. Traveld sixteen mildes to the Kahoon [Cajon] pass and campt[.] very hard roads



Tuesday 14th. This morning we dubled up our teams and drove up the mountains thurty [thirty] milds then drove over to the Mahovy [Mojave.] good roads and plenty of feed
