The following letter was recived by Bp. Hunter:

Laclede Station, Head of Bitter Creek, June 25, 1868.

Captain Jos. S. Rawlins writes that his train consists of thirty-one church wagons and two independent. He says the terminus is to be at North Platte by the 4th of July, and that if the saints land there it will save 180 miles travel and $10 to the wagon for ferriage and toll.
