<p xmlns:its="http://www.w3.org/2005/11/its" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">We remained there until 1848 when we started for Utah in President Brigham Young’s company. Although I was only 13 years of age I drove three yoke of cattle across the plains arriving in Salt Lake City, Sept. 20th, 1848.</p>
