tuesday 16 th of [ illegible ] Nov 1852 left San Bernidino [Bernardino.] come about 14 miles and camped in the [ca..on] pass

wednesday 17 about 10 or 12 miles and camped on the top of the hill

thursday 18th come to the Mohave about noon[.] stopped & got some breakfast & started & come 5 or 6 miles & camped on the mohave[.] cloudy and cold

friday 19th started and traveled all day & camped on the Mohave[.] had hard work to keep warm

saturday 20th come 16 or 17 miles & camped a the first last camping on the Mohave[.] warn [warm] and pleasant

sunday 21st left the mohave[.] come within a mile & a half of the bitter springs and camped for the night

Mon 22nd come to the salt spring

tues 23rd come to the [..a.arch] and found Sherwoods Co[.] the Missionary brethren come at night[.] got letters from home

wed 24th laid bye[.] the weather very cold[.] wrote to san Bernardino

thurs 25th come past resting springs & camped 10 miles before we got to the [s..imp] springe
