in July the 13 th 185[2] day wee left Indian town and made our way to Salt Lake City[.] wee had some little trouble with a man by the name of Bradshaw befor leaving[.] after crossing the Mosourie [Missouri] River the colory [cholera] was quite sevear [severe.] wee lost 15 out of a company of 50 wagons but thank god wee were all presurved[.] wee traveled in the large Company some 200 miles then the ten wagons that father [Samuel Ferrin] was captain over left the rest and went on[.] wee arrived in Salt Lake City the first of Oct all in good health
