Camp of Isirel Company No. 1.
of Salt Lake Emigrants 16 Miles East of
Fort Bridger August 21st 1850

President Young we have Deligated Brother [Fielding] Jeter Clinton in Company with Brother Ward to Represent us in your Counsels & give you all the information Relative to us as A Company that you may Require[.] they likewise Bear you A list of all the Names in the Company[.] we Confidently expect if no accident hapen to us to reach the valey Saturday morning the 31st & we desire if it meets your mind that you cause A A [sic] suitable place for an encampment as near the City as posible to be selected where we can Receive A visit from you we also wish to know the hour when we might Expect your arival in our Camp[.] if these arrangements meet your Aprobation please inform us By Messinger [messenger] We shall come in by the way of the Golden pass if we get no information to the contrary
