Fayette, Sanpete Co. 23rd Sepr. 1879 Hon. Orson Pratt Dear Brother, Bro. Bunce requested me to compile his Missionary Journal for the Historians’ Office file, and I have done so with pleasure. He is a neigbor of mine and I have read nume- rous letters sent to him by bretheren in the Liverpool Conference which express sentiments of great love and esteem for Bro. Bunce and also an anxiety for his return to them. Our brother is 52 years of age, a native of your State (Wolcott, Wayne Co.) and is an intellectual, keen man and above all, full of the Spirit of the Gospel. He tells me he has a large number of relations in York State and environs who have never heard the Gospel and that he has no genealogy of them His whole soul seems intent on doing more work in the Kingdom, and he thinks now is the time for laborers to go out into the vin'eyard.
