Salt Lake City U.S. Oct 28th /76 Elder Orson Pratt Dear Bro, Please receive the accompanying items for record at Historian’s office Elder William L Binder being called on a mission to Europe left Salt Lake City Decr. 9th 74 in company with Elders Edward Snelgrove, Geo L Farrrell and Robt Hoag; Arrived in Liverpool Jany 2nd /75 and was immedeately appointed (by Prest, Joseph F Smith, to labor in the London Conference; Sept of the same year he was appointed to preside over the same conference in which capacity he acted untill he was released to return home with, and take of the third company of this Season’s emigration, leaving Liverpool [page 2] Septr 13th 76 and arriving at Salt Lake City Oct 3rd /76 Respectfully your brother in the Gospel Govt William L Binder [page 3] October 28 1876 Report Elder Wm L Binder’s European Mission.
