West Jordan Feby 15th 1881 To Orson Pratt Church Historian Dear Brother at the October Conference of 1876 we were called to take a Mission to Canada, we started Feby 8th 1877 arriving there on the 12th we labored in Inis Killen Canada West, until June 25th 1877 but without any visible succes, but allyed considerable Prejudice after visiting amongst the people and talking with them at their firesides not finding any willing to recevie the Gospel we left on the above date arriving home June 29th 1877 not having reported on our return we take this oppurtunity of doing so and Subscribe ourselves your Brethren in the Gospel Duncan Gardner Neil Gardner
