[page 1] Henneferville April 11th 1877. Dear brother Pratt Sir, I was called last Octr conference to go on a mission to the United States, to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, my field of labour was around Iowa and Nebraska, under the direction of brother James A. Little. I laboured there about four months, and I beleive I did some good while I was there, me and my partner baptized some, and quite a number was ready for baptism, but I received word from home, that my wife was very dangerously sick, consequently Bishop W. W. Cluff allowed me to be sent for to come home, therefore, brother James A. Little desired me to report to you, I do so with pleasure, my wife is a little better but she is very weak and low, but I hope by the blessing of my heavenly father, she will soon be better, dear brother Pratt, I feel to be on hand at any future time to be on hand to respond to any call which may be made upon me for the building up of the kingdom of God upon the earth by the servants of the Lord. no more at present I remain your brother in the new and everlasting covenant Micah Harris [page 2] Apl. 11, 1877 Micah Harris To O.
