June 22 – 1500 <more> of us began <moving> west. I drove 2 yoke cattle and to Salt Lake Valley—was <accidentally> killed on the road along the Platt[e] River and restored to life again, <wagon ran over me> reached the S[alt] Lake Valley Oct. 6, 9 A.M. <I drove a dead man's team>
