Transcript for "Notice to Last Season's Immigrants," Deseret News, 3 October 1866, 352

G. S. L. CITY, Sep. 28, 1866.

I BEG leave respectfully to remind the Latter-day Saints assisted to immigrate last season of the covenants made with me, namely: that the payment of their debts should be the first consideration with every one of them. They have now had ten months to earn the amount in, which I hope will be forthcoming at the October Conference.

All these expenses have been paid to the amount of some twenty thousand dollars, and I hope every one will see the importance of paying me immediately.

If the Bishops and acquaintances of these people would remind them, whenever they know where they are, I should esteem in a lasting favor.
