Mrs. Sarah A. Reese passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. E. Taylor over at Hiawatha last Saturday. She was the widow of William A. Reese, who was buried at Scofield in 1892. She was born in Merthyr Tydvil, South Wales, in 1847, being 73 years old. She emigrated to Pittsburgh, Pa., in 1865, resided there a year and then crossed the plains to Utah by ox-team, settling at St. John, in Tooele county, where she lived for fifteen years. The family then moved to Winter Quarters, where they resided up to six years ago, since which time Mrs. Reese has lived with her daughter dividing time between Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. R. G. Wilson up at Standardville, and Mrs. T. W. Lewis at Hiawatha, all three being her daughters. Funeral services were at Lehi last Wednesday morning, the remains being shipped there from J. E. Flyan's mortuary parlors at Price. Other children than the daughters already mentioned, who are surviving, are Ms. T. H. Miller at Baker City, Ore., and  William G. Reese at American Fork. Also left to remember her are twenty-seven grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
