Mrs. Jeannette Gorgan Park Cam to Utah Sixty Years Ago.--Mrs. Jeannette Gorgan Park died yesterday at her home in Mill Creek ward, death resulting from a cancer, with which she has been afflicted several years. Five years ago an apple falling from a bough struck Mrs. Park on the cheek, imparting a severe bruise. the pain never entirely subsided, and finally a cancer made its appearance. 

Mrs. Park was a pioneer of Utah, having arrived here in 1848. She was the widow of William D. Park, and was at the time of her death 65 years of age. She was the mother of 14 children. 10 of whom survive. They are William G. Park, Mary Park Mackey, Mrs. Rachel Shurtleff and Mrs. Ella Eliason of Salt Lake, Joseph G. Park, Robert Park, Arthur Park and Roy Park of Murray, and Mrs. Jane Bloom of Box Elder county. The funeral will be held at Mill Creek ward meeting house at noon Thursday, January 11.
