Know all men by these presents that Mr. Edward O. Haymond & Margaret Ann Haymond his wife of the County of Polk in the State of Iowa, in consideration of the sum of Five hundred dollars in hand paid by Jacob Reicheneker of Fayette County, Pennsylvania have bargained and sold, and do hereby grant, bargain sell and convey unto the said Jacob Reicheneker his heirs and assigns forever, the following premises situated in the County of Polk in said State of Iowa and bounded and described as follows:

The East half of the Southwest fractional quarter of Section Number Six and the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section Number Seven in Township Number Seventy-eight North of Range Number Twenty-four West of the Fifth Principle Meredian Iowa, containing one hundred and twenty acres more or less. Also Lot Number Nine in Block Number Twenty-one in the town of Ft. Des Moines, the county seat of Polk County & State of Iowa.

To have and to hold said premises, with the appurtenances unto the said Jacob Reicheneker heirs and assigns forever, And the said Edward O. Haymond & Margaret Ann his wife for themselves and heirs doth hereby covenant with said Jacob Reichenecker his heirs and assigns, that we are lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid; that the premises are free and clear from all incumbrances whatsoever, and that we will warrant and defend the same, with the appurtenances unto the said Jacob Reichenecker heirs and assigns, against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.

In Testimony whereof, the said Edward O. Haymond & Margaret Ann his wife have hereunto set their hands and seals this twenty-seventh day of April in the year of Our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and fifty.
