Transcript for Salt Lake Daily Telegraph, 27 Aug. 1864, 3

Murdock's train arrived last night.

By telegram from Deer Creek yesterday, we learned four "Mormon trains" had passed that place. One had passed on the 24th, the particulars of which were specified by the telegraphic operator thus:—"Capt. Miller, six threshing machines, one reaper, balance freight belonging to different parties."

W[illiam]. S. Warren's and [Isaac A.] Canfield's trains were at Mud Springs, 100 miles east of Laramie—all right, on Wednesday.
