When I was eleven years old we started for Salt Lake City[.] we crossed the plains in a ox team. And we had the colory [cholera.] I had the colory[.] every body died with the colory but me that had it. I wanted to be baptized so they baptized me and when I got well our Captain had the whole company baptized. And so the colory ended.
