<p xmlns:its="http://www.w3.org/2005/11/its" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Father had one yoke of oxen and two yoke of cows, with eight people in the wagon.  I had to walk all the way across the plains.  There was much sickness (cholera) and many were burned [buried] on the way.  We were three months crossing the plains arriving in Utah the 1st of September 1850.</p>
