Sun 2. Walked out 3 miles to Camp.

Mon 3. Last night our Train of horses all stampeded & we Spent Several hours finding them[.] We started & traveled to Loup fork of the Platt[e]. I walked most of the way & am very Tired[.] drove through the wet bottoms and camped on the Bank

Owing to the hustle of traveling & the dodgeing from one place to another I find my journal with Several blank leaves from Loup fork Tues 4 May to June 21, 1858.

Mon. 21. In Company with Bernard Snow & Sam[ue]l. Roskell[e]y I left camp at 9:15 pm last Evening on the East of the Big Mountain & started on foot for S. L City where we arived this morning at 8 am having passed the express asleep which left camp 4 hours before we did.
