At Sidney, Iowa an immigrant train was ready to leave for Utah, therefore, Father's family consisting of father, mother and the three children: Octavis, Alseona and myself joined the wagon train. We had a new wagon loaded with provisions and three yoke of cattle. We traveled in Captain Walker's Company.

We arrived in Bountiful, Utah in 1857.
