We traveled across the plains with ox teams. We had many a hard struggle although we got along much better than we anticipated.</p>



<p xmlns:its="http://www.w3.org/2005/11/its" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">The first of September we landed in Salt Lake City without any home or anyone to hunt us one, we were very lonesome indeed.</p>
