September Su[nday] 2. I was rebaptized by Capt. D[an]. Jones in the river Platte, Confirmed by the laying on of hands by G[eorge]. A[lbert]. Smith & Capt. D. Jones

September Th[ursday]. 13 Eliza Thomas married with Clark This is right day

September f[riday]. 14. Eliza Thomas married with Wm. Clark

September S[aturday] 15. Eliza went from us to day

September Su[nday]. 16. Eliza Clark had her bag of clothes from our waggon to day

September Su[nday] 23. Started from Sweet Water, team came from the Valley to fecth [fetch] us

October M[onday]. 22 Dated 2 letters to Wales to day about 52 miles from the Valley

T[uesday] 23 Sent 2 letters to Wales one to Blacklion and one to David my brother--

S[aturday]. 27 Came into the Valey of the Great Salt Lake to day[.] Stayed in the mouth of the canions [canyons]

Su[nday]. 28 Stayed in the mouth of the canion at meeting twice
