We landed in Florence earlier Winter Quarters on the 1st of June where we stayed for two weeks waiting for the wagons to come.  
<p xmlns:its="http://www.w3.org/2005/11/its" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">We left Florence the 15th of June in Captain Murdock's Company, continued our journey without any special happenings till we arrived in Salt Lake on the 28th day of September 1863. </p>
