The name of the Ship we crossed the sea into America was William Tapskahtch [Tapscott], where we wated five days for our outfits, to start our Jurney to Cross the plains. We traveled accrost the Plaines with ox teams.</p>


<p xmlns:its="http://www.w3.org/2005/11/its" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">We arrived in Salt Lake City Utah Sept. 15, 1859, we had a great many triles to pass through, but still I felt it was a pleasent trip.</p>
