In the Spring of 1863 I was called to go & drive an ox team of four yoke to the Moseri [Missouri] River to bring our foreign emigrants to the valley[.] We started in April & returned in October[.] Upon this trip I made the acquaintance of Miss Christenia Brown To whom I was married Feb 29th 1864.
