hired my luggage hauled by James Miller, $10.00 per hundred[.] I drove team for my Bro William[.] when we got to Fort Bridger our provisions was getting short[.] took my blankett and started a foot depending on getting something to eat from the companies ahead[.] Some times we got it and some times did not but got throw [through.] this was in Sept. 1852
