Thursday 21 Feav[e]r Packed up the Carts and leaving The ground at Noon I was Then unable to walk but Stoped till The Evening and road out in The Waggon The Distance of 3 mills [miles]. Stoped ther all Night

Friday 22 Stoped on The Camp Ground untill 5 P.M. A metting ware huld [held] on The ground[.] Brother E. Snow & James A Littele [Little] ware Present and gave us good Instructions. The day was fine[.] Brother E Snow and Little laid there hands on me[.] Brother Snow rebuked The Descess [Disease] That was on me and Blessed me in the Name of The Lord[.] we Traveled from 2 to 3 mills Then pitched The Tents for The Night[.] I felt Better and Sleaped well all Night

Satterday 23 got up about 6 A. M. Eat Braskfass [breakfast] Atended metting[.] Then Brother J A Little returned back to Iowa Camp[.] The Camp got ready and started at 9 oclock and Traveled till noon[.] Stoped till ½ Past 3 Then Traveled untill 7 P.M. The Day fine

Sunday 24 Camp arose at 6 A.M. high wind and little rain[.] The Camp moved off at 8 Am and Traveled till ½ P[ast] 11[.] Stoped untill 1 Pm Then Trav[ele]d till ½ P[ast] 6[.] The Swelling of my body is going down fast[.] The Night Came in rainey so I sleapted in The Waggin with Brother Evans & Aishbee [Benjamin Ashby]

Monday 25 I felt Better[.] The Morning being fine The Camp moved at ½ P 7 AM and Traveled untill Noon[.] The Afternoon came in rainey so That we could not Travl[.] The Night was very weat

Tusday 26 very dull and rainey so That we Could not Travl untill 2 PM Then Travd till ½ P 5[.] I still got Better and could put on my boots and walk a little

Wensday 27 was Dull[.] Camp moved at 9 Am and Traveled untill 3 Pm Then some heavey rain full so That we did not Travl in the Evening[.] I walk about one mile This Day

Thursday 28 fine but The camp did not Travl untill 2 PM stoped There and some of the Brothern began to larn The gun Drull[drill.] Brother Jacks being There Teacher[.] Then Travd tell 5 PM Then Camped

Friday 29 fine Camp[.] Moved at ½ P 9 and Travd till Noon <I walk 8 miles> Then Stoped untill 2 Pm[.] Then Travd till ½ P 7 Pm

Satterday 30 rained till The Evening so That we could not Travl[.] I fult worst This Day Through walking so far The Day befor[.] Sister Hutchings was Taken Ill yesterday and greatley swellen [swollen] in The Bodey but she felt better to Day

Sunday 31 rained untill Noon[.] Preaching in The afternoon by Capt Evans[.] There was maney gentills [gentiles] came to [illegible strikeout] our Camp to hear him[.] I stoped in the Tent The hole of The Day not being able to walk for The weakness in my leggs

Monday June 1st Camp moved at ½ P 9 and Travd till Noon[.] Stoped untill 2 Pm Then Travd till ½ P 6[.] The Day fine and I walk about 12 mills

Tusday 2 was Dull[.] Camp moved at 8 am Came to Norton City Stoped There one hower [hour] to get some Store goods[.] Then we Travd till Noon[.] Then stoped There till ½ P 2 Then Travd till ½ P 5[.] The afternoon was fine I fult Better and walk untill 5 Pm

Wensday 3 The Day was fine Camp moved at 7 oclock and Travd till ½ P 11 Stoped till ½ P 2 Then Travd till 7 Pm I fult furst rate This Day and walked about 20 mills

Thursday 4 Camp moved at 8 Am Past Through Des = moines [Des Moines, Iowa.] The Toal Bridge There I paid 10 Cents for Mary and me[.] Travld till Noon Stoped till ½ P 2 Then Travd till ¼ P 8 Pm Then Camped[.] The Day was fine

Friday 5 Camp moved at 7 am Travd till ½ P 11 Stoped untill 2 Pm Then Traved on Passing Through Are Deal City Through The river about ½ P 5 Travd till 7 making about 25 mills This Day

Satterday 13 Camp moved at ½ Past 6 am Travd to The Misso[u]ri River Passing some of The Brothern That were going on There Missions to The States and to Englany [England.] Stoped at The river to noon one hower Then Took The Tug Boat and Crossed The river and went on The Camp ground at the City of Florence[.] [illegible] Day was fine some of the Brothern was There That had Crossed The Plains With The hand Car[t]s[.] Working for means to Carry Them on There missions[.] In The evening it raines in Torrence [torrents] heavey Thunder & Lightening

Sunday 14 The Weather was fine[.] Mettings ware huld on The ground and good Instructions given to The Saints by The Brothern That had came over The Plains with There Carts[.] in The evening The rain Came on very heavey

Satterday 20 Camp moved at 10 went on The Top of the hill[.] Stoped There and huld metting[.] Brother Snow and Taylor being Present gived us good Instructions[.] we Then Travd to The Great Pappey[.] Stoped There to Dinner till ½ P 2 Then Travd to The Elk horne [Horn] River arrivning There at ½ P 8 PM[.] we There Over took The Waggin Com[pan]y of Brother W[illiam] Walkers Stoping There[.] The Water being so high we could not go over[.] The Day was fine

Sunday 21 Stoped at The River, The Water being up wards of 3 mills in Wedth[.] mettings ware huld on The ground AM. PM and in The evening by The both Companeys[.] The Day very fine

Camp moved at ½ P 6 tooked The upper road and Travd untill after 2 oclock[.] Stoped to Dinner Then Travd about A mill Crossed another river Then Camped[.] This Day I felt sick and fainted by The way being very work and not much food only one Pound of Breade P[e]r Day[.] The Weather very hot

Friday 26 Camp moved at 4 but I and Brother Hugh Daves[Davis or Davies] went back 6 mills to The Plat Creek after our Bagg of Poark. Satterday 27 Camp was ready to start at 4 but A very heavey Storm of rain full till about 9 Am[.] Then Travd till 11 Stoped till 2 Then Travd to Looking glass Creek where we got about 7 Pm[.] some of The Brothern Came out from Beaver Settelment Stoped with us all night

Sunday 28 Camp`moved at 6[.] The Brothern loaded There Waggons with Part of our Luggage so we arived at Gennoa [Genoa] City about 10 oclock[.] Camped There with The Settelers Brother’s Walkers Compy also[.] Mettings ware huld in The afternoon & evening[.] Brother Snow being Present Adressed us

Monday 29 Stoped and washed Thre [their] Things[.] The weather fine[.] The Gennoa Brothern Orginesid [organized] There Melleta [militia] Companys and Chosed There officers and went to Drull in The afternoon and in The evening[.] The Seluturay [saluatory] [L...ge] was Presented by The Sisters and raised by The Brothern[.] after which Dancing and other Injoyments wour huld[.] The Night Came in very rainey

Tusday 30 Stoped at The City untill 4 Oclock P.M Then Leaved to ford The Elk horn river. Acompaneyed by The Brothern of Gennoa with There Teems who ha[u]led our Provishons and the Sisters across The river[.] all got over Saff [safe.] Camped near The river[.] some of The Brothern Camped with us

Wensday July 1 Camp was called up at 4 and went giving out Flower [flour] to The Compy so That we Did not move befor 10 Am[.] Then Travd untill Noon stoped till 3 PM Then Travd till 8

Friday 10 heavey rain in The morning[.] Camp moved at ½ P 12 Travd 2 mills and Camped at The upper part of The Creek

Satterday 11 Camp moved at 6 am Travd till Noon Stoped One hower Then Travd till ½ P 4[.] Camped at Creek

Sunday 12 Capt Evens and other of The Brothern went in surch of Our Oxen That went off in an heavey Storm about 11 Oclock in The Night Prives [previous] but Could not find them [,] which ware 4 head[.] Brother Walkers Compy fitted our Waggin with There Cattle took it 5 mills up The river to where They ware Camping and Stoped There[.] The Brothern did not return until 8 Oclock The same evening[.] The Night was rainey

Monday 13 rained in The morning[.] The Camp did not moved untill Twentey minuts Past 11[.] The Waggin Company Lent us 3 yoake of There Cattle to Draw our Provishon Waggon otherwise we should have had to Leave the Waggin and to hall our Flower in our Carts[.] we Travd till 3 Stoped till 5 Then Travd till Sun Down
