SANDY HOOK, Nov. 12, 1865. 
PRES'T B. YOUNG: 
Capt. Willis' train leaves here this morning, all well, only cattle very weak, feed poor, weather still fine.

It is very gratifying to know that with the arrival of Captain Arnold's train during the present week, the whole of the emigrants, save some men necessary to bring in the ox train, will be saved from the severity of the winter.



The deep interest taken by the president and other gentlemen in the emigrants, had brought about a deliverance to them which will relive many hearts pained with fearful apprehensions.



We have endeavored to obtain the names of the parties forwarding assistance, but up to the time of going to press had not succeeded.
