	Willard, Boxelder Co., May 2.--On the 18th of April John P. Wood, one of our oldest and most highly respected citizens, passed away after a brief illness. He was a native of England and was in his eighty-first year. For nearly forty three years he was a member of the High Council of Boxelder Stake. His posterity numbers eighteen children, fifty-eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.</p>
