    Where the Church in Korea Started

    The first baptisms in Korea took place on August 3, 1952, in Busan, but they were the result of the baptism of Kim Ho Jik on July 29, 1951, in the Susquehanna River—the same river where Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery had been baptized so many years before.
