    Visiting the Sick

As a missionary in his native Denmark and a bishop of the Provo 1st Ward for 40 years, John Peter Rasmus Johnson had many opportunities to visit and minister to the sick. He saw it as a spiritual as well as temporal duty. “When the Body is afflicted,” he taught, “our spirits are more or less so and we need the care and sympathy of our Friends.”
