Remembering the sense of wonder he felt as a child walking through the North Visitors’ Center on his approach to the marble statue of Christ, Metcalf creates an airbrushed homage to the 1960s mural once behind the Christus statue. The light that comes from Christ shines on all His creations, including humanity.
