Farnsworth has depicted three evidences of the truth "all are alike unto God" (2 Nephi 26:33). The background alludes to temples, a type of building throughout the world where ordinances occur in a variety of languages. The model for the painting is a recently returned missionary, emblematic of the gospel message sent to all nations. And finally, the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ translated into over 100 different languages is represented.
