A mother stands nobly and determined, her infant strapped securely to her. There is kindness in the connection of the child and the mother; there is stability in the face of the woman. While serving in a dental clinic in Uganda, the artist found inspiration in the women around her. Noticing the strength of those women made it easier for the artist to love herself.
