The artist combines several elements—17 canvases that make up one work, multiple people cut from magazines, and many names from around the world, including ancient and latter-day apostles—to illustrate the idea that humanity is composed of individuals who make up a whole. We are united by the sacrifice of our Savior, represented by a white shirt opened to reveal a bleeding heart.
