"The girl holding a lantern on top of the globe is proud of who she is as a daughter of God and wants to be an example to the world. She is standing tall and holding up the Light of Christ for the world to see. The lantern demonstrates the light that shines from inside her because of her faith in the gospel. The bright, bold colors on the sculpture represent that she is not afraid to show the world her true self as a representative of Christ. The girl represents me standing alone because I often have to stand alone and stand up for my values in school. The white polka dots and the white base show that she is pure and wants to be worthy to go to the temple."
