"This painting shows a beautiful white flower that has arisen despite the rocky ground it is situated in. I see myself and all the youth of the Church as the white flower in the painting. The graduation of color from dark to light shows growth and arising. It also shows the separation between where the world is and where we should be. There are smaller, weaker flowers planted in the same ground. The smaller flowers entwined around the big one represent those around us who need our strength to come unto Christ. If we choose to arise and shine forth, others can come to the light who might not have been able to come otherwise. This painting shows my commitment to arise and follow God’s light, no matter what."
