'And I Looked'

“And I Looked is a contemporary look at Lehi’s and Nephi’s vision of the tree of life,” said Read. It explores how Lehi’s vision might appear visually if it were received today, in an effort to “liken all scriptures unto us,” as Nephi suggests (1 Nephi 19:23). The image was created by using composite photographic images, which were then etched using a 500-year-old intaglio artistic process.
