The subject of a spirit returning to heaven came to Tolman when she was “was staring death in the face.” Contemplating her own mortality, she asked herself, “Did I really believe in the life after? Would I really be connected with my children and husband again?” Through that struggle, she gained a powerful testimony of the plan of salvation. “Death is not the end; it is just the beginning, as we enter through the veil and return back into His loving presence.”
