Paige painted this self-portrait as a symbol of gratitude—for things both settled and unsettled, loose and fixed—and the way that God continually answers prayers and leads us, sometimes blindly, down paths of growth.
“As we take the time to look, we will see the circles in our lives: the moments when questions are answered, when God offers us His view and we gain greater understanding,” said Paige. “It’s in the looking back that they become more apparent, and they can strengthen our testimonies going forward. These circles then stand as witness to the reality of God and His influence in our lives.”
