“I see God's hand all around me, but most especially in woodlands and forests where I delight in the beauty of His handiwork,” said Gallo. “Studying the landscape informs my work because it allows me to see and learn from God’s creations.” Glades End depicts an inlet stream she discovered while on a walk with her family near Seattle. A convert who joined the Church while living in Milan, Italy, Gallo’s interest in landscape is rooted in a belief in God, who manifests His love in His creations.
